About Paul Jackson, Registered Osteopath

I qualified as an osteopath in 1999 after studying at the European School of
Osteopathy in Kent. The 4 year full-time BSc Honours degree provided me with the
best possible osteopathic training within the UK. The course covered all spheres
of osteopathic technique, including cranial sacral osteopathy.

Before retraining as an osteopath I worked as a Rolls Royce trained aero-engine
mechanical engineer for 9 years in Bristol.

After graduating as an osteopath I worked in Cork, Ireland for 1 year. During this
year I enjoyed treating a diverse spectrum of patients including newborn babies,
children of all ages and pregnant women.

Since then I have moved back to my home town Bristol, and established client bases
in two of Bristol’s largest and longest established centres for complementary
medicine; The Natural Health Clinic in Cotham; and the Centre for Whole Health in
Bedminster.

I currently enjoy treating patients of varying ages and health conditions, utilising
both structural and cranial osteopathic approaches. Lower back, neck & shoulder pain
are commonly treated in every day practice. I have special interests in paediatrics,
obstetrics and learning difficulties.

My aim is to work closely with other health care professionals to increase the
awareness of the benefits of osteopathic medicine amongst GP’s, midwives and health
visitors.

I am committed to providing the best possible osteopathic care to my community.
